Facilities and Services at The Wang Theatre

Welcome to The Wang Theatre. Citi Performing Arts CenterSM continuously strives to make the arts accessible to all. We hope our facilities, services and programs will make your visit to The Wang Theatre a most enjoyable one.

TICKETS

  • Online: www.citicenter.org
  • By Telephone: call 866-348-9738
  • In Person: Citi Performing Arts Center Box Office: Tuesday - Saturday 12 Noon to 6 PM (The Box Office will also be open at the advertised time for all pre-sales and show on-sales.)
  • Group Sales: for 10-20+ (depending on show) call 617 532-1116 or groups@citicenter.org.

SECURITY

  • Bags, parcels or luggage are not allowed in the Wang Theatre
  • Please refer to The Citi Performing Arts Center's Security Policy

SMOKING

  • Smoking is prohibited on The Wang Theatre premises

LATECOMERS

  • Please allow ample time for road construction, parking and other unforeseen events that may cause delays in arriving at the Theatre on time
  • Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the Producers and/or the discretion of the Theatre Management, which may result in latecomers missing a portion of the show

PHOTOGRAPHY & RECORDING

  • The taking of photographs or the use of video or audio recording equipment is strictly prohibited by law
  • No video, audio or photographic equipment is allowed in the auditorium

ELECTRONIC DEVICES

  • Please silence all cellular phones, pagers, watches and other electronic devices
  • Please refrain from text messaging and the use of other devices that cause unnecessary light in the auditorium.

RESTROOMS

  • Restrooms are located in the Lower Lobby and on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th floor lobbies
  • In addition, there is an accessible restroom located on the 1st floor Grand Lobby

FOOD & BEVERAGE

  • Concession stands are located throughout The Wang Theatre lobbies
  • Food and beverage are permitted in the Theatre, based on show

PUBLIC TELEPHONES

  • Located in the Grand Lobby behind the Grand Staircase

CHILDREN

  • All patrons, including children, must have a ticket for the performance
  • Due to content, it is recommended that children under the age of 4 do not attend the Theatre unless it is a children's/family show
  • Please call ahead to insure there are no age restrictions with the show you are attending
  • Booster seats are available behind the Grand Staircase in the Grand Lobby, proper form of identification will be needed to secure the use and will be returned upon seat return

SHOW MERCHANDISE

  • Show tee-shirts, hats, CD's and other items can be purchased on the right hand side as you enter the Theatre
  • Show related merchandise is sold by the show's producing organization
  • Citi Performing Arts Center is not responsible for defective merchandise

LOST & FOUND

  • Inquiries should be made at the Chief Usher's podium on the day of the event or call 617-532-1225

EMERGENCY CALLS

  • Anyone who expects emergency calls should contact the Theatre Manager upon arrival
  • Emergency calls should be placed to 617-482-9393 extension "0" (operator)
  • Doctors, Nurses and EMTs are encouraged to check with the Theatre Manager upon arriving at the Theatre in the case of a Medical Emergency

PARKING

  • Please leave appropriate time to locate parking
  • There are several parking lots located near the Theatres: The Tremont Street Garage adjacent to the Wang Theatre; the Radisson Hotel on Stuart Street; CityPlace Garage in Park Square; the Kinney Motor Mart on Stuart Street, the Fitz-Inn Lot on Kneeland Street and the Garage at 100 Clarendon on Clarendon Street. Members of The Club receive discounted parking at the Garage @100 Clarendon.
