Accessibility At The Shubert Theatre
Citi Performing Arts Center
SM continuously strives to make the
arts accessible to all. Careful attention has been and continues to be
given to ensure that all program areas of our Theatres are accessible.
Door entrances, restrooms and performance polices have been modified for
greater accessibility and alternate format programs, assistive listening
devices and American Sign Language interpreted and audio described
performances are available.

Citi Performing Arts Center places the highest priority on the comfort
and safety of its patrons. To this end, The Citi Performing ArtsCenter
recognizes the needs of persons with disabilities, as defined by the
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990 and subsequent modifications.
Citi Performing Arts Center makes every effort to accommodate patrons with
disabilities and communication disorders in compliance with both ADA and
Commonwealth guidelines.
The Shubert Theatre - Access for Patrons
The Shubert Theatre is equipped with a barrier free entrance and drop-off
area. The House Staff is at the service of patrons with disabilities and
communication disorders. The Shubert Theatre offers accessible and companion
seating in a variety of prices and locations throughout the Theatre. Tickets may
be purchased by calling 800-447-7400 or at the Citi Performing Arts Center Box
Office in person, Tuesday - Saturday 12 Noon to 6 PM (The Box Office will also be open at the advertised time for all pre-sales and show on-sales.). Please inform the ticket
seller you would like to purchase accessible seats.
An accessible bathroom is located just off the Main Lobby.
The Shubert Theatre Box Office has an accessible ticket window.
An
accessible telephone is located in the Box Office Lobby.
A TTY payphone is located in the Box Office Lobby.
- The Shubert Theatre is equipped with an FM listening device. Headsets
are available free of charge and are subject to availability. A proper
form of identification will be needed to secure use and will be returned
upon receipt of headset return. Headsets can be obtained at the Head
Ushers desk
Large type programs are available at the Head Usher's desk.
Accessible drinking fountains are located thoughout the Theatre.
Each season, American Sign Language interpreted and audio described
performances of selected shows are offered at The Shubert Theatre
