Citi Performing Arts Center has received a $15,000 grant from the Boston Public Schools (BPS) Arts Expansion Fund by EdVestors to fund year-long musical theatre residencies at the Snowden International High School in the Back Bay and Odyssey High School in South Boston.

Citi Performing Arts Center has been selected by Arts|Learning to receive the 2010 Arts|Learning Outstanding Arts Collaborative Award in the field of Performing Arts. As the Massachusetts representative of the Kennedy Center Alliance for Arts Education Network, Arts|Learning recognizes Citi Performing Arts Center as a leader in providing, supporting, and advocating for quality arts education in Massachusetts, through the 2009 SpectrumBoston program. Citi Performing Arts Center will be honored at the 24th Annual Champions of the Arts Award Ceremony at the State House on May 26th.

Hour-long workshops take place in Boston Public Library Branches and Boston Centers for Youth and Families locations across the City during April School Vacation Week.

The World Famous Radio City Rockettes will star in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular as the beloved holiday production returns to Citi Performing Arts Center Wang Theatre.

Six local performing acts chosen to represent their neighborhoods on the Shubert stage May 15

Boston Public Schools received a grant from the Target Corporation to fund an artist residency and ticket access program with Citi Performing Arts Center. The goal of the program is to improve school success, engage families and strengthen community by providing access to Boston’s rich offerings of music, dance, visual arts, theater and cultural events. The BPS Arts Department in partnership with Citi Performing Arts Center will give nearly 1,000 students in selected schools greater exposure to Boston's theater district.

Citi Performing Arts CenterSM announces musical theatre themed workshops for ages 7-11, at the Boston Public Library on December 5th, 12th, and 19th, from 1-3pm.

On Tuesday, November 24, the Citi Performing Art Center’s Annual Gala will transport guests to an island oasis inside the Wang Theatre where guests can expect tropical drinks, sandy toes, and steel drums. The Gala is an annual event that raises money to fund the education and community programs at Citi Performing Arts Center, a non-profit performing arts institution.
