Citi Performing Arts Center believes that it is a right, not a privilege, for every youth to have a creative life, experience art, and express themselves creatively regardless of skill level and/or socioeconomic status. Citi Performing Arts Center strives to empower youth to change the world through the arts.
In 2010-2011, our Education programs:
- Reached 8,000 youth and families
- Distributed 3,200 free tickets
- Mentored 58 High School interns
- Worked intensively in 7 Boston neighborhoods
- Provided 1,700 students with in-school arts experiences
Your gift – at any level – to the Annual Fund helps our mission. The Fund supports many opportunities. Here are a few examples:
$100 provides tickets for two youths and
$250 supports an entire family to attend a live performance through the Citi Center Ticket Access program. A donation of only
$500 funds a paid summer internship for a Citi Center City Spotlights youth leader. A
$500 contribution sponsors replacement light bulbs for the chandeliers in the Citi Wang Theatre Grand Lobby. A
$2,500 gift helps restore the murals and gold leaf that line the walls of the Citi Wang Theatre.
