Come to the historic Wang Theatre and get a behind-the-scenes tour of one of Boston’s most prominent landmarks. Stand on the stage* that has been graced by Bing Crosby, Ella Fitzgerald, Mikhail Baryshnikov, Benny Goodman, New Kids on the Block, Led Zeppelin and more! Learn about its unique history, originally planned to be a hotel and adapted to a movie theatre with a lobby modeled after Versailles. Marvel at the restoration, which Dr. An Wang made possible in the 80’s, including fun facts such as the 42,000 square feet of gold leaf in the building! We tailor the tours to suit your interest, whether its historical details, technical facts, or children’s groups.
