About the Show

The Celebrity Series of Boston began its relationship with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater with a single night engagement in 1968. Since that time the annual Celebrity Series appearance by Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater has become a city-wide event celebrating the best of modern dance and the relationship between Boston and this remarkable cultural treasure.
